Evaluating Interactive Multimedia

Educational Technology Volume 32, Number 5, ISSN 0013-1962

Begins by discussing what interactive multimedia (IMM) is, why it is used, and how it should be evaluated. A pragmatic approach to evaluation is advocated, and a framework for formative evaluation is proposed, which focuses on formative experimentation.
