Abstract
This paper reports on the on-going development associated with the U.S. Department of Agriculture's effort to build a comprehensive, high performance, web-based knowledge system know as the Research, Education and Economics Information Systems (REEIS). The paper specifically documents the process, known as the Strategic Information Audit, which was used in the REEIS planning process.
