Abstract

Complex knowledge acquisition and transfer to new situations is always a difficult task to
achieve. Cognitive Flexibility Theory principles are appropriate for complex domains and advanced
knowledge acquisition. We apply CFT principles to a novel that is available on the World Wide Web. A Web
course was conceived and is described on this paper. The reported research focuses on users' motivation to
participate in this study, their comments about the analysis proposed to the novel and to the web course, and
their opinion about web courses for further learning.
