Abstract

Young children are playing with and learning about technology at a very fast rate. They are not afraid to experiment with, touch, fail or even ‘mess’ up. So, why should caregivers be afraid of the technology? This case study provided the results of 63 care givers who “played” with 10 APPs geared at early learners. This was the first time many of the care givers were touching an iPAD or being exposed to the wide range of APPs available to support early learners natural curiosity and creativity.
