Abstract
Commitment of substantial government funding to a project brings with it a requirement for evaluation of the degree to which the project has succeeded in achieving its stated goals. The Teaching Teachers for the Future (TTF) project funded by the Australian Government has developed an evaluation plan using both quantitative and qualitative methods. This paper recounts some aspects of the development of the evaluation plan, describes the methods being used, and presents some insights from preliminary analysis of the data for one of the 39 teacher preparation institutions participating in the TTF.
