Abstract

This paper describes five models of co-teaching that can be adapted for teaching foreign language online. Teaching and learning foreign language online presents a unique set of challenges for both the instructor and students. Distance foreign language programs must provide a vehicle for meaningful interactive communication and authentic language practice that includes immediate instructor feedback thru the effective use of information communications technology (ICT).
