Abstract
Object of this experimental study, which is a part of doctoral study, is to determine effect of adaptability of study media and level of adaptability on academic achievement of students. Three different models have been developed based on the Moodle platform in the study. Environments have been designed as non-adaptive, adaptive-presentation based and adaptive-navigation based environments. Students studied in the designed environments for five weeks. A multiple-choice test and a practice examination were designed following the experimental process. Based on the findings obtained from the success rates of the students displayed on tests administered as a pre-test and final test, it was demonstrated that adaptability of the learning environment and levels of the adaptability have an effect on the academic achievement rates of the students.
