Abstract

In this paper, a critique of a recent article, “Translating research into new instructional technologies for higher education: the active ingredient process” written by Clark, R.E. (2009), will be presented by first providing a quick review of the article in which main points of the article are summarized briefly. Then strengths and weaknesses of its object will be addressed and a discussion part including answers to three questions on reflection, implications and an example of application of the four-stage R&D cycle will be provided.
