Abstract

This paper is a report on the findings of a study conducted in the last year of TESOL student teachers. Firstly, it analizes the frequency of ICT integration as well as factors that may support or hinder the process. In a second stage, it examines the reasons for that integration. Findings indicate that technology is integrated following student teachers’ confidence in their teaching skills. Participants assumptions not always corresponded to reality but technology was always used to achieve learning aims, mostly in a student-centered approach.
