Abstract

As distance education programs continue to grow, concerns about the quality of those programs grows as well. Recent articles citing the irregularities in some programs and questioning their quality have administrators taking a closer look at the programs they manage to ensure quality. In one College of Business, the road to a quality distance education program has focused on quality since the beginning. By concentrating effort on three facets: faculty, students and courses we have developed a successful approach to online education. This paper details our quality initiative.
