Abstract

The use of reflection is a key tool in further developing teacher practice for pre-service teachers. Current technology supports pre-service teacher reflection through the use of web-based video reflection. One of the advantages of such tools is the ability to capture a real teaching event that can be analyzed and reflected upon pre-services teacher. The Reflektii environment allows pre-service teachers to record a video of their reflection and to solicit support or feedback from peers. Additional pieces to improve Reflektii’s environment are also discussed.
