Abstract
This panel presents papers that share lessons on important issues related to STEM teacher education learned from the National Science Foundation’s ITEST (Innovative Technology Experiences for Students and Teachers) program. These papers will be published in a special edition of the Journal of Technology and Teacher Education (JTATE). The panel will open with an overview of the ITEST program and community of practice. Authors of 3-4 papers will each provide 2-4 important findings from their work. A discussant will field questions from the audience and moderate a discussion on the implications of these findings for teacher educators. Participants will be directed to the upcoming Journal for more details on the work presented.
