Abstract

This paper will discuss using an online comic strip creator to promote student engagement and learning. It provides three exercises of how this digital story telling technique can be used in the classroom and across many disciplines. These exercises will include an opening exercise, a dialogue exercise, and an identify important concept exercise. Since these exercises have already been used successfully with students and instructors, this paper will also provide sample results for each exercise.
