Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the usage of database software called Children Library (Seiko Epson Corp., Japan) by school teachers and students. The software is designed to accumulate and manage static images, and in addition can function as an album. It was provided to teachers in four schools for their free use. This study is based on results obtained from that trial, which were classified into three categories: accumulated use information, editing activities, and reflective evaluation activities. Results made it clear that school teachers used this software flexibly in their schools for face-to-face learning activities, independent student use and also for evaluation purposes.
