Abstract
This project was undertaken to help faculty in the School of Music critique performances their students had inside and outside of the university studio setting. Though initial system proved faulty for its desired application in music, the author discovered a wealth of uses for this application in other disciplines across the university where students are required to “perform”. This presentation focuses on the development of a video system to let students record their performance, and let faculty or peers to review the video and make comments ‘inside’ the video stream. The author will discuss the system’s evolution, technology other academic applications for this system, as well as implementation plans for future use.
