Abstract
This paper presents the initial phases of a research project that is looking at the online social networking sites for children in preschool through sixth grade. The project will be a content analysis of the sites. The researcher will not only look at the issues of just what the site contains, but also at standards, cost, methods of networking, parent controls, and child safety.
