Abstract
This presentation and paper will present the preliminary findings from Malaspina University-College Faculty of Education's e-portfolio project, entitled the Student Digital Record of Achievement (SDRA). The SDRA is based on Malaspina's four outcomes (Professional Qualities; Background Knowledge; Capacity to Plan; and Capacity to Teach) and the 18 foci related to these key outcomes. The genesis of the project will be outlined and sample draft e-portfolios will be presented in the presentation portion of the paper. As well, the challenges and triumphs of the SDRA will be outlined with particular emphases on storage issues and evaluation of the finished product. It should be noted that the ultimate goal of the SDRA is to demonstrate how our graduates meet the British Columbia College of Teachers' Standards as exit criteria from the Malaspina teacher education program.
