Abstract

The purpose of the paper is to introduce a Web-based instruction program that has been designed to teach rules of English grammar using a concept map to limited English proficiency (LEP) students in a way that helps them fully understand the grammar rules. This instruction program is aimed at helping LEP students understand and learn grammar rules in context of the relationship between rules. The study focuses on demonstrating an example of how concept maps can be used to aid the internalization of grammar skills for LEP students.
