simSchool is an exciting new way to prepare teachers to improve student learning. simSchool is a computer simulation where teachers virtually practice their teaching and classroom management skills within a fun and safe educational simulation - game environment. This simulation documents growth and user results-oriented abilities using a powerful new data tracking and reporting tool. simSchool's goals are to impact preservice curricula, enhance preservice teaching, increase the percentage of new teachers who possess knowledge and skills in results-driven classroom practices and gather baseline and change-over-time data on the status of student results. This poster will demonstrate simSchool, share the underlying instructional model and how it can increase preservice students' skills in results-driven classroom practices; discuss how teacher educators envision using simSchool and future developments.
