This paper will present our experiences to integrate contemporary digital video technology into school counseling training class and practice. The design of instructions and procedures for counseling-skill-training is based on the Skill Counselor Training, and the design of the integration of interactive-video is based on the Technology Integration Design. Several video-editing programs (iMovie, Camtasia, MovieMaker, and Primier) were used to produce interactive video. Procedures of video editing and production, advantages/disadvantages of each program, issues when adapting new technologies into the counseling training, learning outcomes, and sample video products will be presented.
