Abstract
Advancements in the integration of technology into K-12 curriculum is continuing to expand at a rapid pace. One such tool that is increasing in popularity and potential benefits is the use of drone technology. This presentation will provide a description of current drone technology and outline potential uses for this advanced level of technology in various K-12 classroom settings, including a global context. The will also include potential uses and specific resources in these settings as well as a discussion of the limitations of drones in the K-12 environments. The presentation will conclude with recommendations for future research related to the advancement of drone technology with K-12 learners.
