
Technology Leadership Skills for Administrators

Abstract
Merely providing teachers with technological resources does not insure that those resources will be well utilized. School administrators at all levels must provide needed leadership in order for effective, integrative use of technology to occur in the classroom. In this discussion, the authors summarize selected literature concerning leadership in the instructional technology arena. The authors also describe current related leadership standards for administrators and offers some guidelines for effective leadership.
