Abstract

With the growth of online programs, more online faculty are needed to address this increase. However, with online faculty, they can feel disconnected just like distance students. To address administrative issues, build community, and provide professional development to support content development a communication model was developed using a learning management system. This paper will discuss the implementation of the model, lessons learned, and impact of that implementation.
