Abstract

One of the key challenges for e-learning is to create e-learning content regardless teaching subject matter. School budget issue always limits faculty to have an IT service team as well as to purchase expensive equipment for e-learning endeavors. Faculty also often does not want to take extra time and redundant effort to create e-learning materials while teaching in classroom. How can teaching faculty creatively resolve this challenges has been the major discussion topic among many departments and universities. This paper describes one of our best practices at University of Hawaii at Hilo for e-learning content development.
