Abstract

This paper provides findings of a study conducted in the field of Diversity Management in higher education. DUC is an approach to integrate didactical embedded user generated content in lectures. Innovative learning scenarios with technology support are a core element of this approach. It takes into account that in higher education the diversity of groups of learners always exists. Moreover, it will foster cognitive competencies as well as non-cognitive ones. As a basis for this approach the research team conducted a quantitative study about students estimation on diversity in higher education in general and the integration of instruments and measures in lectures. Findings indicate that there is a need of active integration.
