Abstract

This project focuses on insights into the current scope of teachers who are using blended learning to create an added value in the classroom. In order to develop better training tracks for teachers, this study explored the technical-pedagogical profile of 380 teachers. Based on previous experiences on the use of blended learning in two different departments, interest, motivation, ICT-skills and coping strategy were used. The study makes use of these four key aspects within the existing literature, also taking into account the institutional context. The results of this analysis determined the methods and processes for better support in the technical and pedagogical training for teachers, with developments leading up to tailor-made training tracks. The study has the potential to implement different approaches to improve classroom teaching.
