Abstract

This paper addresses the topic of how to quickly develop and deliver a learner-centric E Service Training (EST) program on a global scale. This paper describes how we created modules which cover the following facets of any comprehensive learning program: conceptual information; visuals of the equipment; task instruction for various activities; access to real, physical equipment; assessment exams; real-time, interactive discussion with the instructor and other students; and tracking and reporting of student progress. The methodology which is presented in this paper is relevant to organizations that need to keep their technical service and support staff current on the latest skills.
