Abstract

A developing effort that is facilitating change in the teacher education programs at the University of Tennessee is an online lesson library that provides student-centered technology enhanced lessons. Each lesson is aligned with NETS-S standards, curriculum standards, and provides adaptations for diverse learners. This library, a result of a PT3 funded project, links pre-service teachers, teacher education faculty and K-12 teachers to a rich resource for providing needed vision in learning to infuse technology into curriculum. This paper will share the database, the planning and development phases and lessons learned. Additionally, the ways that this database is facilitating the training of pre-service teachers to infuse technology will be shared.
