Abstract

New York City College of Technology (NYCCT) has implemented an ePortfolio project for students in selected career departments. Students design their own career ePortfolios over time in selected courses in their major to highlight and showcase their academic accomplishments, explore career opportunities and demonstrate competencies in their chosen fields. The project supports the integration of technology into the curriculum using a unique teaching and learning strategy. Students are encouraged to establish connections between coursework and the professional skills they will need when they graduate and begin searching for a job. This presentation will highlight the some of the accomplishments of the ePortfolio project at NYCCT.
