Abstract

One of the difficulty in the stereoscopic 3D movie is a viewer's fatigue. However, there are few people who can watch 3D movies without such problems. We thought that such people naturally have an ability to adapt 3D stereoscopy - "3D Readiness". We also supposed that 3D Readiness might be cultivated by some kind of training. Taking into account the similarity between 3D movie and SIS (Single Image Stereogram) we developed a mobile application to foster 3D Readiness using SIS. After trial experiments we found that our system is effective to improve the fatigue and SIS solvability for almost all of the testers.
