Abstract

This best practice session will cover how the Lone Star College, a large multi-campus system, designed and implemented a successful collaborative, transparent and inclusive process for procuring our Learning Management System. We will describe how we formed our Evaluation Committee, communicated with stakeholders, built our RFP, evaluated products and collected stakeholder feedback ultimately making an informed collaborative decision. In addition, we will review the process we used to collect, prioritize and evaluate all of the data collected throughout this process in order to present a final recommendation. The evaluation covered nine data points using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
