Abstract

Given the current climate of tight budgets and financial cutbacks, teacher educators don't have the luxury of limitless resources to train the next generation of teachers on the expensive technology of today. With no costs associated with travel or lost time, specialized web meeting applications are designed to leverage each member and asset of a teacher training organization to create a training program that transforms limited resources into boundless opportunity. Led by online learning expert Sanjay Dalal, this session will draw upon his experience in helping online learning decision-makers at major universities and K-12 school districts alike to achieve their eLearning goals. Learn about the collaborative online training tools available to educators, best practices for creating an engaging online classroom, how the technology is being used to leverage academic resources, and more.
