Abstract
Abstract: This session will explore specific instructional techniques utilizing multimedia, web based resources, and the Blackboard course delivery system to construct interactive scholarly experiences for higher education non-traditional pre-service teacher candidates and in-service teachers. Participants will see a demonstration of a developed course and share in a discussion of best practices to engage students in scholarly activities through flexible and distance learning. Integration of interactive technologies such as Voice Thread, Poll Everywhere and Google docs will be demonstrated.
