Abstract
Abstract: This research paper was done in order to help online curriculum developers gauge what Media production courses could be offered online. The researchers selectively chose to present in this study five dimensions of relationship analysis focusing upon: Gender, University Grade Point Average, University Credits Completed, Interest in an Online Masters Degree, and Course Equipment Availability. The study found that the majority of those female students answering the survey were most interested in photography as an online course, with a majority of male students interested in graphics. Researchers also discovered that overall interest in online courses was highest with students with GPA’s lower than 2.0 and lowest in students with GPA’s of 3.50 or higher. The study also looked at whether interest in an online Masters degree correlated with interest in online production courses.
