A Virtual Revolution: Trends in the Expansion of Distance Education

Abstract
Based on a review of the latest trends in organizing distance education, this report finds that distance education can be a great asset as long as academic decision-making is made by teaching professionals. Discusses programs at existing higher education institutions, corporate-university partnerships, virtual universities, and corporate training institutions. (LRW)
