Abstract

MathML and the Java programming language offer mathematicians and
mathematics educators powerful new tools for publishing WWW-based mathematics
materials. In particular, these technologies now make it possible to present both
geometric information and interactive geometric models over the WWW. This paper
presents an overview of these technologies and discusses their potential uses in on-campus
and distance education courses.
