Abstract

Offers college faculty a "future proof" approach to staying in step with technological progress and choosing appropriate technologies to integrate into instruction. Discusses factors in technology planning: market dominance of a technology, ease of use, suitability as a medium for best practices in teaching and learning, technical assistance needed, cost, and the "best guess" approach.
