Abstract

Describes a distance mentoring relationship between a student in a master's program at a United Kingdom university and her professor at the University of Botswana (Africa). Highlights include reading/interpreting the course material; tackling assignments; handling feedback; formulating the dissertation topic; indigenizing the theoretical constructs; and handling emotional factors.
