Abstract
The Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework (Mishra & Koehler, 2006) has gained increasing interest by the educational technology research community. The use of survey instruments have become a popular means of measuring teachers’ TPACK. However, existing survey instruments have mainly been developed for use with pre-service or in-service teachers in developed countries such as the United States. They therefore do not meet the context needs if they are to be applied for teachers in developing countries such as Vietnam. This paper presents an analysis of the development and initial validation of a self-assessed survey instrument to measure Vietnamese EFL teachers’ TPACK knowledge.
