Abstract

simSchool (Gibson, n.d.) is a classroom simulation program delivered via the Internet. After a year spent learning about the program and assigning simSchool activities to teachers in a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program, lessons were learned about the effective integration and utilization of simSchool in pre-service teacher preparation programs. Views on suggested activities, best practices, and future steps are discussed. In addition, current procedures and policies involving simSchool at two different universities from a teacher education program accreditation perspective are examined.
