Abstract
This purpose of this session is to illustrate and discuss the integration of iPads into the supervision of teacher candidates at National University. Mobile devices are dominating the technology marketplace and are becoming a part of the K-Higher Education landscape. We conducted an iPad pilot project in order to learn the usability and feasibility of using the mobile device in the field when collecting observation data during clinical practice. The duration of the project was seven months and involved 11 University Support Providers and their students. The distribution of the participants was statewide in California. We will be discussing the results of the focus group session that will serve as the impetus for further implementation of the devices in clinical practice.
