Abstract

This presentation illustrates a higher education institution’s efforts to develop the structural/managerial dimension and the cultural/psychological dimension of quality culture (EUA, 2006) in its online education domain, and how these two dimensions interact with each other. Issues, observations and solutions related to accreditation requirements, distance technology integration, online course quality assurance process, faculty professional development, online student readiness, faculty involvement and shared governance are discussed.
