Abstract
In this paper we present the first draft of the University of Vienna ePortfolio framework which is closely interlinked with the university-wide eLearning strategy. Conceptually the aims of the framework are to bridge the gap(s) between different ePortfolio conceptualizations in order to provide orientation, to integrate ePortfolio on a curricular level within the context of a university-wide community, and to envision ePortfolio as a tool for quality development for the study programmes. In order to illustrate the direction Vienna University is taking concerning curricular integration as well as to present the methodology currently being developed in more detail, we will present the Media Competencies Seminar as a case of an ePortfolio-implementation into a mini-curriculum, using an adaptation of creative writing techniques as didactical methodology.
