PDA-based information systems are suitable for m-learning, enabling ubiquitous and idle-time utilization. However, the use of small devices and mobile systems requires special quality attention in order to get the desired benefits. This article examines the quality problems resulting from the characteristics of these systems, proposes some metrics to measure their quality and some practical implications for the designers and developers of PDA-based systems, including techni- cal, implementation and content issues.
