Abstract

Contemporary college students have high expectations of their classroom experiences. To sup port those expectations, alumni, sup por t s taff, and librarians can be productively integrated into the intellectual life of classrooms. These colleagues often have underused expertise and skills that can be discovered and utilized so as to enrich courses and provide additional value to s tudents. Information technology tools can sup por t this ap proach in both local and geographically dispersed classrooms.
