Abstract

Technology changes are needed for any organization to progress in the twentieth century. IT not only affects the performance but also affects the behaviours of the employees of the organisation. Many scholars look at the acceptance of technologies and how it affects the employees’ behaviors in their studies and then find suitable theories and models for acceptance. This paper will look into the Technology Acceptance Model developed by Davis (1986) based on the Theory of Reasoned Action founded by Ajzen and Fishbein (1980) and Extended TAM models and their limitations to Information systems and change management initiatives in organizations.
