The quest to appropriately integrate educational technology tools in higher education cannot be fulfilled by additional supply of hardware and software, except if these tools are infused into daily activities for teaching and learning (The American Council of Education, 1999; Hagenson & Castle, 2003; McKenzie, 2001, Keengwe, 2007; Keengwe & Kidd, 2010). The purpose of this study was to explore the factors affecting ICT adoption process and the implications for faculty training and technology leadership in higher education. The following research questions were investigated in the study: a)How would you describe your experiences in the technology adoption process as it relates to adopting technology for the teaching and learning process?(b) What factors are critical that hinder or influence the technology adoption process? (c) What recommendations would you offer to faculty and university administrators based on these experiences?
