This paper discusses an online peer evaluation approach that was applied to a hybrid fundamental Instructional Design course. The peer evaluation does not just serve as an assessment of peers’ projects but also creates an active collaborative learning environment through critique and debate. This learning experience helped students improve evaluation capabilities and enhance learning performance as well. What are students’ perspectives on this approach? The paper will discuss pros and cons of this online peer evaluation approach from two graduate students’ perspectives.
