Abstract

Online education has been an issue of great interest for several years. For-profit online education, the expansion of traditional institutions into online education, and the rise of non-traditional students have all been thoroughly examined. The reach of online learning, however, goes far beyond academia. With the rise of knowledge workers and the increasing complexity of the modern competitive environment for business corporate e-learning is of greater importance. This paper will introduce the need and value of e-learning in the modern business world.
