Abstract

The innovative pedagogy presented is based upon the premise that storytelling enriches the engagement and deeper learning of students in higher education. It explores the rationale and techniques for expanding oral stories into effective multimedia stories using flashpoint to enhance cognitive connections and retention of learning. The process developing multimedia stories with flashpoint will be presented. Initial student reactions to this best practice technique will be examined.
